I Saw the Sign, and It Opened up My Eyes…

Being busy is a state that people are constantly in; it is how our society is structured. Our minds are full of things; we’re constantly thinking and focused on the hundred or so tasks we need to do and take care of. One of the hardest things to learn is to how to still the mind, and certainly one of the biggest barriers for people when they try and meditate. When we’re in this busy mental state, it’s easy to go on ‘automatic pilot’. We miss what’s really going on around us, and we overlook the signs and synchronicities that are out there, and often right in front of our noses.
Synchronicities and signs, or tid-bits of information are clues from the unseen world around us. Carl Jung discusses it with respect to the collective unconscious, and The Celestine Prophecies also talk about it. Call it what you will, the Divine, the Universe, our Higher Self, Our Spirit Guides etc, often provide us hints to help us solve our problems, or help with what direction to go in when we’re trying to make a decision about something, or even just to offer us strength during difficult and trying times.

When I was thinking about articles to write for this newsletter and the blog, I was toying with some ideas but couldn’t really decide. Then, the Ace of Base song – “The Sign” kept popping up – on two different radio stations at different times of the day, at the thrift shop, and then at the grocery store. I thought to myself, it’s not a new song, why does it keep showing up? And so, I decided to write a piece about synchronicities and signs. It was a good reminder to me how the unseen world speaks to us, but how easy it can be to miss these signs – even when we feel we’re in tune, the exterior world can still fill our minds and clog our cosmic flow.

Does the same number or sequence of numbers keep popping up everywhere you look? Does a particular song keep popping up in various locations? Does a certain animal keep revealing itself in different places? Do some topics keep coming up in conversations with different people at different times? Does a person’s name keep showing up? Have you ever experienced a strange sequence of events that all seem related? Go beyond notions of coincidence or fluke events; pay attention to patterns of tid-bits that keep surfacing for you. What does it mean to you? Why is the pattern significant?

When we take the time to observe the world around us, we can really start to ‘see’ things differently and experience the world around us in a very different way. In hearing this song (and I don’t even like the song really) in all these different venues, I was reminded to stay in tune and listen, to see, to feel and experience what is going on around me. Sometimes when we ask for guidance from our ethereal helpers, help can come to us in various ways, sometimes very overt and ‘in your face’, and yet other times very subtle – like in synchronicities, signs and patterns. To borrow the phrase from the X-Files, ‘the truth is out there’, we just have to notice it is being presented to us and shared with us. And so, a good reminder that we all need to stop, take a deep breath and really look at the world around us, as it interacts with us continuously.

Living in the Light – Navigating Daily Challenges

Many of us have a good idea about what we want to do with our lives, and how we want to live out each day. We have a sense of what our life path entails and if we’re lucky, we’re already dabbling in it and doing our thing (perhaps on a part-time scale). We also have a sense of where our thoughts and hearts should be as we begin our days. We know that our thoughts manifest the world around us; we start off our day with a positive affirmation, a grounding meditation, we tuck our crystals in our pockets and purses, and we fill our hearts with Love and Light and go off to do our daily things. For the most part, we’re in a good place, we have our tools and we’re ready to manifest what we truly want.

And then, we meet some challenges along the way. We might wake up feeling weird, or have a strange funk hit us in the middle of the day. We might face situations or people that are not energetically in the same place as we are. Sometimes we just feel like we’re having a ‘bad day’. Arguably, there is no such thing, as each experience is meant to teach us something. But – some days it’s just darn difficult to stay positive and stay in the Light.

We might wake up and wonder about the job we’re in – the job that isn’t part of our path and that just doesn’t feel right. We do it begrudgingly. We might ask ourselves – why is it so hard to do what I want to do? Everyone asks this, you’re not alone. It’s likely that the job you’re doing isn’t part of your path and you feel that – like you should be somewhere else doing something else. It’s important to remember that it’s a means to an end – it’s a tool to help you get to where you’re going. It’s paying the bills right now.

Importantly, your job (the one that’s not part of your life path) doesn’t define you. It’s not who you really are. Again, it’s an instrument, a stepping-stone. And, although it’s sometimes unbearable to be there, it’s an opportunity to think about – what can I learn from this? Are there situations or people here that I need to deal with and work through? How can I put my ‘good-mojo’ to work here? Think about the ways that you can incorporate the ‘True-You’ into seemingly unbearable or unpleasant situations. The customer who is yelling at you at the counter, the demanding Boss who’s constantly on your back, the tedious and monotonous tasks that you do daily – In what ways can you integrate the True-You into the ‘blah’ or ‘meh’ aspects of your day? In what ways can you let Love and Light trickle through into the ‘yuck’ aspects of your job and social relationships? There’s a reason why you are where you are right now. Look for ways that you can shine your Light in places you might feel are dark for you right now. Move from passive to active on Your terms. Be grateful for these opportunities, no matter how challenging.

It’s easy to feel weighed down by the exterior world around us, especially if you’re intuitive or empathetic – and despite the energetic boundaries you’ve set up for protection. We’re still human, and the Ego still plays a role in our existence. Sometimes when we take a moment and evaluate our lives and the changes we want to make, we feel a little overwhelmed. The big picture viewpoint is daunting and huge. You might ask yourself – How will I ever get to where I want to be? How can I possibly make all these changes? How will this all play out? Try not to get caught in the trap of the meta-view. Try and take a more micro-view and take it day by day. What can I do today that will help me get closer to my goals? What can I do in this very moment to help me get to where I need and want to be? Part of this is learning to exist in the ‘Now’. We want to be sure to enjoy this very moment, this hour, this day and not be so worried and overwhelmed about the month, the year, the decade. Utilize your spiritual-tools: practice gratitude, use your crystals, say your affirmations, go hug a tree, reach out to a friend, or whatever you use and do to help you stay positive and in the Light. You’re not alone, and in truth, you’re already on your way to where you want to be.

Cleansing – The Art of Bathing & Importance of Water

Bathing is typically something we do to cleanse our bodies, ridding us of external bacteria and dirt that we pick up throughout the day, and the toxins that our bodies naturally release through our skin. Although many of us usually choose to shower due to time constraints (or perhaps not having a bathtub or a proper sized tub), this act of cleansing the body helps also helps us clear our thoughts, emotions and boosts our spirits. We shower to help us wake up in the morning, clearing the cobwebs of our dream state; we shower to wind down at the end of the day before we slumber.

Bathing also has spiritual significance and is a vital daily practice in various religions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism. Historically we have numerous accounts of the art and practice of bathing across the globe; Mesoamerica, Rome, China and Japan all incorporated Bathing into their daily practices in both public and private spaces.  What is it about water and the act of bathing that makes us feel so refreshed, cleansed, relaxed and overall just good? Water is one of the most important substances on Earth, and humans are made up of mostly water. We often turn to water for comfort – we visit Beaches, Rivers, Oceans and Lakes and gain comfort from the ebb and flow of natural water formations. Water is said to be loaded with energy and vibration, with the ability to respond to the world around it on an energetic level. Some researchers, such as Masaru Emoto show how water responds to external stimuli with simple words of love, hate, and gratitude. By freezing water he shows how crystallized water retains these sentiments; love produces beautiful geometric patterns, whereas hate produces deformed patterns. In short, we don’t give water enough credit, and we don’t perceive it as a life force in itself. Whatever the form it takes – gas (steam), solid (ice), or liquid (water) – it is vital to our physical and spiritual existence on this planet.

I’m sharing this with you because I have a lot of respect for water and I interact with water every day; I send Reiki & Positive Energy to my bottled water, my tea, my soup – any water that I consume (unfortunately our tap water is pretty stripped of natural stuff and loaded with chemicals). I am pretty thankful for it, as it is what sustains our physical bodies. You don’t have to be a reiki practitioner or certified in energy healing – all you need is thought and intent. Project your positive thoughts – love and gratitude – onto/into the water you are drinking, eating, interacting with. You’d be surprised at how much better that cup of tea will taste.

One of my favourite things to do is to immerse myself in a hot bath, meditate, reflect, and purge any negative vibes that are clinging to me on my emotional, spiritual, physical and mental levels. It is simple to do, yet very effective. Run your bath water as hot as you can tolerate it, and try to fill your tub so that you can immerse yourself from the neck down. As the water is running, turn your mind to a positive space filled with love and gratitude – and send this or project this into the water. If you’re a reiki person, you can use the Cho Ku Rei or Dai Ko Myo symbol – simply draw it over the water or draw it in the water. I also like to use some helpers, such as bath salts, essential oils and crystals to charge my water. Here are some of my favourites:

Candles: I always have a candle beside the tub, typically a white one.

Epsom Salt: a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate that has numerous health benefits, including stress relief, soothes pain and muscles, eliminates toxins.

Pink Himalayan Salt: contains 84 essential minerals, detoxes the body, relaxes and soothes.

Dead Sea Salt: contains Bromide, Iodine Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium and Potassium; stimulates circulation, effective for arthritis, allergies and skin ailments, regulates cell activity.

Lavender Oil: brings positive energy, numerous therapeutic attributes internally and externally.

Sweetgrass Oil: one of the sacred herbs of Native Americans; used to draw positive energy & purify negative energy.

Quartz Crystal: Power stone, channels energy, amplifies energy, harmonizes & balances.

Citrine: Clears negative energy, protection, stabilizes energy, success stone, hope.

Amethyst: Calming stone, balance, peace, protection, help rid of addictions.

Rose Quartz: Unconditional Love, balance emotions, stress relief, eases anxiety.

*Crystals can be placed in the water or beside you on the tub. Note that some crystals cannot be immersed in water – some will disintegrate in water (such as Selenite), while others are not healthy to absorb through water (but ok to hold in your hand). Be sure to do some research on your crystal if you want to immerse it in water, as some will contain copper, lead, arsenic, cadmium, aluminum, barium, mercury, zinc, and other poisonous substances.

As soon as I step into the water, I feel my whole being give a sigh of relief and comfort. Take some time to feel the water on a different level – not just physically. Feel the love, feel the comfort, feel the energy. Take a few moments to turn your mind to a quiet place and meditate – or simply just exist in a space that is just love energy. If any daily thoughts or worries come to mind, feel them slipping away into the water, allowing the water to transmute negativity into positivity. Take as much time as you need in this space. Tune into your senses – the physical ones, and the non-physical ones. If you have trouble focusing, use the candle flame beside you as a focal point. See the flame dance and relax into the water; Smell the essential oils that you’ve used; Run your fingers through the water, draw patterns or doodle; Sense the energy of the water, inhale and taste the feeling of the steam and hot air rising from the water. Stay as long as you can, and when you’re finished, give thanks to the space you created and to the water for the healing. Get out of the tub slowly, you might feel a bit dizzy from the energy and heat – be sure to drink lots of water when you’re done.

If you only have time for a shower, use the Cho Ku Rei or Dai Ko Myo symbol on the walls of the shower stall, including the shower curtain. Or, use the same intent of love, positivity and gratitude to build yourself an energetic fort in the shower. I also send this energy into the pipes in the walls, and the shower head so that the water that flows to me is charged with positivity. Allow yourself to experience the water falling on your body, allow yourself to immerse your being into this energetic healing space you created, allow your troubles or worries to fall into the drain.

Once you’ve finished with your bath, you’ll notice how much ‘lighter’ you feel. You’ve given yourself a physical bath, an energetic cleansing, and purged your aura of stagnant and unwanted energies. Your head will feel clearer, offering a fresh perspective on the world around you. Take the time to use this simple yet effective way of clearing, and appreciate the gift of water. Enjoy.

Energetically Preparing for the Holiday Season

December is a time of festivities. It is a month of sentiments – we lament and miss loved ones who have passed, we mediate arguments with negative relatives, we feel joy at seeing loved ones who live far away, and we feel deep love and connection when we share time with those dear to us… December is a month where you’re bound to experience many different kinds of emotions – for better or worse. The holidays can be both a beautiful time of celebration of love and kindness and an ugly expression of harboured resentment and anger. The holidays tend to bring out both the best in people and the worst in people. For those who are sensitive, intuitive or empathic, this can mean an emotional overload, leaving you feeling drained, out-of-sorts and scattered – and not very festive. If you are sensitive, intuitive or empathic, you already know what I’m talking about, so I’d like to offer some suggestions about how to navigate the emotional rollercoaster of the holiday season.

Most importantly, you must first figure out how YOU are really feeling – what emotions you are experiencing? Take a few minutes throughout the day to check-in with yourself: how am I feeling? How does that (situation, person, object etc) make me feel? Am I happy? Sad? Annoyed? If you can, jot down your thoughts about your feelings in a journal. You don’t have to write elaborate prose – sometimes just a couple of words on a scrap piece of paper or a sentence in your notebook will help you identify and engage with your emotions.

Allow yourself to experience your own emotions, and then release them. Don’t punish yourself for your feelings. If you’re missing a loved one who has passed, feel it and release it. If you’re ticked-off at Aunt Sue and Uncle Bob because they’re being difficult and unreasonable about where to have Christmas dinner, feel it and release it. Experience your emotions, understand where they are coming from, and let go of any grip that a negative emotion might have on you. If you’re feeling love and gratitude, feel it and keep it. One of the beautiful things about being human is our capacity to feel and emote. Celebrate it. Choose to Live in Love.

We often don’t take the time to check-in with our emotional state, and we really should. Sometimes we feel numb because we’ve stuffed away our feelings for so long – too busy, don’t want to deal with it, or just plain fear of emotions. For some, years of shunning and finger wagging – “oh, you’re so emotional” or “wow, are you ever sensitive!” has lead to empaths shutting down and cramming away feelings into that closet in our hearts. We’ve learned to project a ‘Poker Face’ when dealing with the outside world. In our society – one that touts logic and rationality as the harbinger of the Digital Age – feeling emotions or being sensitive are perceived as undesirable characteristics and traits. In truth, this is not a balanced existence for humans.

Determining what you’re feeling and why you’re feeling will help you understand yourself in a much deeper way. Doing so will help you know yourself, but it will also help you to identify emotions that are not your own. As a sensitive, intuitive or empath, you are likely picking up, sensing, and experiencing the emotions and feelings of people around you. Understanding your own emotional state will help you untangle your feelings from the feelings of others. You might have already found yourself affected by Cousin Dan’s foul mood at the Christmas dinner table, or Grandma missing Grandpa during the gift exchange, or even the sheer elation when young Peggy open her first gift of Hanukah. You might have found yourself in a strange funk, unable to figure out why you feel so weird when everything is pretty ok. These sensations are not your own, you’re picking up other people’s ‘stuff’.

If we know that we are a walking receptor to the emotions of others, it is much easier to navigate these feelings, and mediate them in a positive and healthy way. You’ve come to realize that your Sister’s rage and negativity at the world has an effect on you when you see her. Not inviting people for the holidays or choosing not to interact with them is not always an option (although many empathic introverts will certainly remove themselves from people and situations to avoid the emotional turbulence). You’ve figured out what emotions are yours, experienced them and released any negativity. So, how do you deal with the energetic junk from other people? You need to set some boundaries. By setting energetic boundaries you are setting the intent to not take on, experience, or internalize the emotional state of others.

There are numerous ways to set up your energetic boundaries – a clear affirmation that establishes a border line or a visual of a barrier or shield around you. One of the most common exercises in setting up energetic boundaries is the Egg or Bubble Visualization, where you envision a protective layer that surrounds you and your aura. Here is one example that works for me. It helps me not only to set up energetic boundaries for unwanted emotions from others, but it helps me repel negativity and unwanted energies that may challenge the Light.

Choose a time when you can meditate and be undisturbed for at least ten minutes. Visualize yourself seated as you are – or perhaps you’re sitting somewhere else like a forest, a field, floating on a lily pad, and so forth. Take a few deep breathes and focus on your heart chakra, and feel love. If you’re having trouble – think about something or someone that you really love – a friend, relative or pet, or something spiritual (Your Higher Self, Jesus, Buddha, God, Yaweh, Wakan Tanka, The Divine etc) – whatever leads you to feeling and experiencing deep love. Experience this for a few minutes. Feel peace and gratitude in this love.

Take a few more deep breathes and feel this love pouring out from your heart to surround your physical body from head to toe; feel the love moving around you, perhaps like swirls or white light, or even red or pink hearts if you need a better visual. If you feel any unwanted thoughts or negative feelings arising, visualize it being absorbed by the love and light around you. Experience how it feels to be engulfed in this feeling of love for a few minutes. Feel comfort in this love.

Take another breath or two and feel how this love protects you, feel the strength of love and the power of love. Then, envision a bubble or an egg-shaped energetic layer that surrounds your physical body and encompassing the love that surrounds you. Experience the comfort and protection that love offers. Your protective layer guards the love you feel inside you and the love that surrounds you. A helpful visual is to symbolically assign a picture or icon that represents that negativity and other unwanted emotions (I often use just the letter ‘X’ or a black dot), then simply visualize this ‘black dot’ bouncing off your protective shield – never penetrating your protective layer of love. Watch how the black dot tries to approach you, and watch how it just bounces off of you. Feel safe in this protective love.

Take another couple deep breathes and now feel how this love emanates from your body. Visualize yourself exuding love, from your body, from the space around you, from your protective layer – send love outwards from you. Be genuine about sharing this love with the world around you; expand that energetic space around you (your aura) by projecting love unconditionally. Feel peace and gratitude in this love.

Once you’ve done this exercise a few times, it is easy to pull up the memory and experience of it to connect to the protective feeling of it right away. You can create a short mantra or affirmation for yourself when you are out and about and unable to sit and meditate, which will help you to re-establish energetic boundaries on the fly. This is one I created for myself, and I use it many, many times throughout the day:

Love & Light Within Me.
Love & Light Surrounds Me.
Love & Light Protects Me.
Love & Light Emanates from Me.

December is a complex and emotional month filled with the love of family and friends, or with loneliness and isolation, or even anger and negativity. It’s easy to get caught up in the capitalistic rat-race of consumption. For those who are sensitive, intuitive or empathic, you can manage the potential emotional overload in a healthy way so that you are not left feeling drained, out-of-sorts and scattered. To recap:

• Take a moment to check in with how you are feeling; make some notes about your emotions.
• Experience and express any emotions that you are sensing within yourself.
• Open the closet door and address feelings that have been stuffed away.
• Understand that the Emotions of others are not your own – don’t internalize them. Don’t judge other’s emotions, simply send love.
• Set up Energetic Boundaries that repel unwanted emotions of others and negativity in general.
• Meditate as often as you can. Use a Mantra or Affirmation to re-establish these energetic boundaries when you feel you are being bombarded.

I hope that all of you experience a holiday season filled with love and light. Be generous with your love, feel its power, gain strength from it. Namaste, my friends.

Review & Reflections – “Seven Grandfather Teachings 28-Day Reflection Journal”

About a month ago I was given the opportunity to engage with the “Seven Grandfather Teachings 28-Day Reflection Journal” by Kelly Frantastic Davis. I say engage because you don’t simply read a reflection journal, you interact with it and if it’s any good, you find yourself engaged with the content, concepts, and the growth it evokes from within. This reflection journal really captured my attention, and engaged me daily. It allowed me not only learn about the teachings themselves, but apply them to my life and circumstances. By Day 28, I was lamenting that there wasn’t a Day 29; I wanted to continue my personal journey with these teachings.

The journal itself is structured for 28 days, and suggests that you dedicate ten or fifteen minutes at the beginning of your day to the entries. Each day is a different teaching, based on the Seven Grandfather Teachings of the Anishnaabe People: Love, Honesty, Wisdom, Truth, Bravery, Respect, and Humility. Every entry includes a motivational quote, the author’s personal reflection of the quote, and ample space to record your own thoughts and reflections. I appreciated the personal stories that Frantastic shared with readers, a good reminder that each of us travels a road that is not always paved.

In the introduction, Davis states: “This reflection journal can be effective for the reader in terms of enhancing, empowering, and providing guidance while making positive changes in their life.” (p2). I really enjoyed my experience of this 28 journal, and recommend it to others. As I read the author’s quotes and reflections, I revisited experiences of my youth, and reflected upon the current world around me. Some days I wrote furiously in tiny script (always with my favourite purple pen) so that I could fit in as much as the paper would allow me. Other days I would write concisely, with short notes that danced all over the page, and other times I found myself sketching images or doodling creatively around my words. The time I spent each morning also allowed me to start the day in the right headspace, and the teachings seemed to guide how I interacted with the world around me that day.

Journaling is more than simply words on paper; it’s about processing your emotions, thoughts, and experiences in whatever way moves you. Journaling teaches you about yourself, and it should inspire inner growth and movement forward. During my 28 Days, I had numerous ah-ha moments, several times where I breathed a sigh of relief as I purged unwanted energy and felt I could move forward more positively. Near the end of the journal – while I was writing my own thoughts – I had a particular moment that tied everything together for me with these Seven Teachings, and I wrote it in the front of the book: Living your Truth allows you to embody Humility, Bravery, Wisdom, Honesty, Respect, and Love. For me, Truth was at the core, and all of the other teachings branched from it. I doodled a flower with six petals, and wrote Truth in the middle and the other six teachings on each of the petals. I realized that at the time I was writing the 28 Day journal, fully understanding My Truth was important for me. I could easily see how these petals could shift and move, with each taking their turn in the middle.

Ask Us! Shaking Off Unwanted Energies

We often get questions from people in the Niagara Community about various new age, spiritual or paranormal things. Not surprising, it is definitely a time of questioning, unpacking, and rethinking the things that happen to us and  the world around us. I’m glad that folks ask us, and that’s why we’re starting an ‘Ask Us!’ blog series. If you have a question about something, or would like something explained – or perhaps you had an experience and are trying to make some sense of it. We’ll be glad to chat with you and offer advice! Today I’d like to share an email from someone who is sensitive to energies:

“Ever since I was told about the negative energy that I take from people, I’ve been trying to be diligent in clearing it. So, today after seeing one of my clients I sat in my car and tried to clear it. Now, I have to say that I don’t really know what I’m doing. I did some deep breathing and imagined the negativity flowing out of me. All of a sudden I feel and itching or tickling feeling in my arms, neck and shoulders. I “shook it off” and then it was gone! Along with the headache that had developed when I saw the client….Any feedback would be appreciated!!”

Response:

Congrats on shaking off and ridding yourself of the negative energy. Good that you recognized that you were carrying something not your own. Often we don’t realize that we leave with other people’s baggage – we think the ick, or the bad mood or headache is our own and from us. I love how you instinctively engaged in the process of clearing it; the breathing & visualization you describe is a good way to do this, yes – good for you! I would also suggest that you imagine yourself in a protective egg, or bubble – whatever you want to call it – it surrounds you in white light. Imagine it protects you, letting only positive energies that are love and light through, while the gray, draining, negative energy bounces off. This is handy for before you leave the house to go see a client (I would still suggest the cleanse after you leave too). Yes, the physical sensations that you felt are indicators of spirit or energy around you. The shaking off is a firm stance on your part that – no, you cannot be here – get off me. Firm statements like this, actions of shaking off or pulling things off of you works well to rid yourself of unwelcome energies. We only want energies that are rooted in love and light. Really great to hear that you’re connecting with yourself and tuning in. I hope this is helpful,  and thanks for asking  🙂

Sometimes the constraints are ideology, with heavy scepticism of what holistic healing is all about and what our bodies need (lack of knowledge), whereas other constraints might include financial barriers or simply transportation and access. As such, Kelly and I have talked about how we can help the Niagara Community when there are these kinds of constraints to people’s wellbeing, and would like to offer some initiatives to those who need or want it.

 Post-Secondary Students in Niagara – Brock University & Niagara College

There have been concerns in the community about the wellbeing of university and college students in the Niagara Region; student Mental Health is a growing concern for parents, faculty and administration. As a university lecturer, I see numerous students that are stressed, anxious, and sometimes feeling a little lost. Many work part-time in addition to attending school full-time, and many have family obligations that demand their time. Excelling  and successfully completing an Undergraduate, Masters, or Doctoral degree is becoming increasing more challenging, with unanswered questions about what happens when they graduate; the job market is tough, even for an educated demographic.

It was recently announced that Brock University will receive $360,240 to partner with Niagara College and address the growing concern about student mental health. Numerous initiatives are being set in motion, such as The Holistic Wellness Initiative that will start by working with Aboriginal, Metis and Inuit student needs.  We have also seen some exam stress-busters, such as visiting puppies – spending time with animals is an excellent way to de-stress.

 Earlier this month, Mount Royal University in Alberta offered students free 15 minute Reiki sessions at the university during exam time to alleviate stress and anxiety, and to aid in relaxing. I was really thrilled to read about this, and think it would be great to offer this at Brock and Niagara College. Kelly & I will be looking into this, and connecting with people who could help make it happen for exams next year.

Meanwhile, we would like to offer Brock and Niagara College students over the age of 18 access to Holistic Services, without the worry of a heavy fee for service. A 30 minute Usui Reiki Session is only $20 for Brock and Niagara College students. And, we have a bus-stop right in front of our door (#6 Lake St Bus).

Seniors in Niagara also face financial constraints and transportation issues. If you’re unable to come to our location, we can travel to you; just let us know what you need. And, we are also offering a reduced rate for members of the Niagara Senior’s Community: a 30 minute Usui Reiki Session is only $20.

Financial situations or lack of monetary flow should never be a barrier to receiving holistic healing. Although it’s a sensitive topic, if you find yourself in a position where you cannot afford the regular fees for Reiki, please let us know and we can chat about arrangements.
